Hi all,
I've got 7.50r16 tyres on the disco and it has had the rear seats removed and a storage platform built with heavy boxes of tools and Jerry cans permanently in there. The suspension is 18 years old now anyway, so a fresh set of springs should just raise her back up a bit and allow for my big tyres a bit better.
I've found a set of 4 HD springs nice and cheap but not sure if I can change just the springs, and change the shocks later, or whether I have to do the springs and shocks all at once?
I've heard alot of stories of Britpart springs leaving discos higher at the front and things like that, so I've a bit of trepidation about fitting cheapo HD springs but will give it a go.
