Hi, I have the chance of 4 new door skins for my 110. Has anyone fitted these ? If so what is involved , straightforward or bloody hard . If you could get back to me asap as this offer is only for a couple of days.
Cheers.

It would not be too hard.

Peel the old one off, new ones come flat and ready to bend onto the old frame.

Not too bad really.

you shouldnt need to seal really unless you want to do it after the skins are fitted. make sure you got the skin and frame on a flat surface and use a skinning hammer or a skinning tool, take your time and do it a bit at a time being careful not to crease the door skin. it isnt to hard if you take your time.

Using a inert barrier between the skin and frame will greatly cut down electrolitic corrosion , ali/steel . This "sealant" is easily available at any good paint factors . You need to fit it right first time as "birmabright" quickly work hardens and fractures. HTSH
