Hi guys, I'm doing some work to an ex-mod land rover 90 FFR for a family friend, he wants chequer plate fitting to the wings but they still have small boxes about 6x6" and an inch tall on each wing. I dont have the landy here to check but how are these boxes attached?

This link should show a 110 with the same style boxes.

Thanks, Harry

normally bolted up through the wing tops ( if he dont want them can I have first dibs :) )

dont do it!!!!!! tell him to buy a civvy one if he wants to put checker plate on it

use some 9mm plywood to mark out the basic shape of the wing tops, then cut to exact shape using a circular saw & jigsaw.

Should take you an hour or so and drop it off to the fabricators, at least you'll know the shape and measurements are exact.

I did tell the bloke it was a shame to fit chequer plate but he wants it doing:(

Sypher I will ask him and if he doesn't want them then thats not a problem.

Are the boxes for radio ariels or something else?

Harry
