This maybe a daft question so please don't flame me! I have removed the original rear tailgate door card and have a chequer plate card to go in its place. The fixing holes all line up but I haven't a clue what fixing I need to use on it. Anyone help?

either rivets, or self tapping screws like i did

+1 Pop Rivets.

Rivnuts - so you can remove the panel easily to access the wiper motor/wiring/door lock - used rivnuts and M6 hex head bolts - proper job ;)

Another vote for rivnuts here as they actually fit in the holes in the door frame when you remove the female plastic fixing things that the old door card fixings pushed into.

i had that silverline one, biggest waste of money iv had so far i think..personally id stick to the DIY version, works and doesnt cost £20

Hes talking about a bolt with 2 nuts to insert and crush the rivnut.

I've got a rivnut insertion tool and it makes using rivnuts VERY easy ;)
