I have seen a number of different location where owners have tapped their t-connections into the boost system:

a) Between actuator and turbo
b) Between turbo and fuel pump boost compensator

Will both provide the same readings? My thoughts are yes but thought I'd seek clarification before I decide where to tap into.

Inlet manifold gives actual boost pressure where it should be measured.
Bit more of a faff to fit though

I disconnected mine off the actuator to check it fitted before cutting. I have no idea of the diameter, sorry. But I would have thought all of that hose would be a universal size
