mud13s

I'm looking at getting a deffender 110 here in Australia, probably mid 90's with the 300TDi motor,

Does anyone know what the minimum lift is to fit 35" muddies (or the metric equivalent) under one?

If it's too high then it won't get engineered leading to no Pink-Slip (MOT) and no rego (Road Tax)

I can go upto 2" lift without an engineers at all but I think that pretty much limits me to 33x10.5" Tyres

As defenders aren't too common in Australia there aren't too many people to ask so I'm hoping someone here can help!!

Cheers

hmm, i'm not sure, but recently when my team and i were modding 3 defender td5s for the rain forest challenge, we did 2 inch lifts using the scorpion racing kit and fitted in 35" goodyear mtr. all we had to do was to trim the wheel eyebrows.

I know a lad wi a scorpion 2" lift and 35" pro comp xterrains on a TD5 110CSW, no eyebrow trimming required and no rubbing anywhere.

The less lift the better so if I can get away with 2" and a little guard chopping brilliant,

Only worry is my mate is running 2" lift and 33" BFG muds and they only just clear at full flex.

I can worry more once I've actually got a landy to lift I suppose!!
