I am thinking of fitting a NOS kit to my 300 tdi. Has anyone done this before and if so, how does it perform?

Don't listen to the fookn idiots that have no technical ability whatsoever so take the **** to cover up their incompetence!

It can be done easily with good results, I've done it but you get the best results from propane.
I've made up a nice small propane kit that includes EGT probe and meter.
I'll post up some pics next week.

qs has to be why the fcuk would you want to,its a 4x4 mud plugger not a feckin subaru, yes im sure its a marvel of engineering but really is it needed..

Well I'd assume it ****s the engine, wastes your money, boosts your power for a bit and boosts your insurance premium too

May I also suggest the propane conversions don't seem very popular choice-speaks volumes.

My technical ability doesn't come into this, if you want fast 4x4 buy a scooby

I get better mpg negating the cost of the propane. The engine runs smoother and has much more torque.
I run a nice simple set-up using large canisters.
EGT's have been lowered also.

Works for me, the 300tdi is a very robust engine. Peeps have always been tuning their motors whatever they are, why would I want a Subaru when I have a Landy!

A newbie wonder, picking a fight when you have been here 5 minutes generally is not recommended.

While your ego may need massaging, your likely to suffer death by a thousand cuts behaving like a Troll.

When I had my gaylander TD4, it always gave me great pleasure being able to beat the chavs off the line. Now I have a 300 tdi, the only people I can compete with are artic lorries and perhaps a bus if I'm lucky.

Having done the propane thing I can tell you this it dose signifagently raduse the life of the engine. The engine will need some work just to get the performance out of it first.
