I need a lighting board; and have seen references to 7-pin/ 7-pin connectors and wiring kits for cars without. For the clueless here (me), and before I go shopping: what type do I need and how do I connect it up (Td4 Adventurer, 56)? Thanks.

almost lall lighting boards come ready wired you just plug it into the towing socket on your vehicle. just the same as you would for a trailer.

Thanks for that - followed by another silly question. The manual only makes passing reference to the socket so: will I have one as standard (I don't have a tow bar, the board is to cover a cycle rack); and, if so, where, er, is it? Cheers.

Next to the towball. If you dunt have one its more than likely you wont have a socket. hence no towing capability

Thanks. Looks like I'll have to have a bit bolted on, or wing it for a while, as don't fancy the extra cost at the moment. Cheers.
