you need a timed relay so it'll switch itself off after a couple of minutes

Has anyone fitted a heated screen to a 90? If so where'd you get the screen and hows it worked?

has tiny wires in the laminated glass and has a wire/spade conectors in each bottom corner
never fitted 1 (yet )) but my last 90 had it fitted

There is a good PDF somewhere. I have the link saved on my computer at home.

seem quite simple to wire up. they draw a lot of amps so you need thick wire and big relays. As pikey says timed would be best to avoid burning it out.

You should be able to order one from any autoglass place. National Auto Windscreen quoted mine a while back through work, never went ahead with it, but its in the back of my mind.

I'm thinking it might be a good move with the winter coming, the heated mirrors are sorted, but they aren't going to help me going forwards lol! Treworgy, did you fit it yourself? I know D4X4 do a wiring kit which looks pretty good, anyone got any experience of it?

IF D4x4 sell it. It'll be fooking expensive & ****e. like everything else they sell
