Well my plan is easy really go round local scrappy's and find biggest electric fan I can find or maybe two small ones. Just a couple of Questions, now I found this, where does it fit?
Also has anyone else done this, that has any tips? And lastly I've found this wiring diagram I take it its right?
Thanks Steve

I. It fits in a threaded sleeve which fits in line with your top hose ie. cut the hose in half, insertsleeve and seal with jubilee hose clips.
2. Is a standard Kenlow wiring diagram. Power 12+, thermostate, fan and earth, it's a good idea to fit an over ride switch also.

All standard stuff the only problem to over come is the secure mounting of the fan in the front or at the rear of the rad.

Thank you for all the info, the only thing I can't seem to find is the threaded sleeve. Does anyone know where to source one of these from?

That temp sender won't fit the adaptor ya brought as it's threaded for a 1/8 NPT sender.

 Didn't read it properly, only had a quick flick though it:doh::doh::doh::doh:

I'll see what I can a adapt when it arrives.

yu can always fit a water temp gauge and use it to run the gauge.??

 What is the point of fitting an electric fan? I can stop and hold the the fan with my little finger when the fan is not needed by the motor.
Where do sellers get readings that state a saving of approximately 10 HP by fitting an electric fan from???? I am damn sure that my little finger does not have the strength to stop and hold back 10 HP. For the amount of time that the fan is actually doing work ( I would estimate to be less than 5% of run time). Is this a really worthwhile or cost effective conversion to do to any vehicle?? :scratching_chin:
Cheers.

yep, nice to be able to turn the fan off when wading, stops water being thrown everywhere - the standard fan is noisy

have you got any short fingers ?

Removed mine, and i'm yet to replace it with an electric, but TBH i regulrly do motorway and traffic and it never goes above half on the temp gauge. Even playing in a quarry for a few hours doesn't see that much of an increase.

TBH people claim MPG and BHP benifits... i'll be ****ed if i've seen any... it just makes less noise, and makes the engine bay easier to work in!
