Had to give her a wash, she's on stag do duties next week and I'll be taking 6 blokes, my brother's 90 will be taking 7 blokes. Guess I thought I'd wash and brush out the dog fur and mud first time this year. But the diff oils are sparkling clean don't you know.
The Tesla gets washed weekly, the 90..... Once maybe per year. Certainly cleaner underneath most of the time.

Nice looking 90, less in more 👍

I agree, there is a lot to be said for keeping it original. In my case all I have done is add rock sliders and changed the cigarette lighter for a dual USB socket - and I am happy with that. However when keeping it clean I must be doing it wrong. Every time I try to clean my car with a pressure washer it rarely looks very clean after. Sure it gets mud off from hard to reach places but the body work seems to remain dirty.

Indeed, I have kept her as close to original as possible. She is the petrol version, so a bit gutless but perfect for what I use her for and quite/less rattly. Hate the idea of a snorkel as I don't go deeper than half a metre of water, don't want a winch. In some ways, in keeping with the 1985 county chelsea tractor...although I use her for towing and taking the dogs to messy, muddy places.
Only upgrades I've done are electronic ignition (anyone who don't are sadistic IMO), and a phone holder. :)
Just serviced all the oils and changed a few bearings, I know someone who's got a steam cleaner, so going to go round there and roll her up ramps to give the underneath a steam clean and follow that up with a fresh coat of underseal. I'm sure I can feel her wondering why she never gets cleaned more often...maybe I should as I get older and more pathetically attached to her.

I would be cleaning the 90 weekly and not the Tesla personally. Your 90 will still be going when your Tesla is scrapped :)
Difference is, my tesla has done more miles than my 90 already. But I know what you mean. I do however aim to keep the T for 10 years, 5 years in and it's all good.
