Yesterday I finally did it and had my first off roading day and absolutely loved it. Was astonished at how capable my 110 was going up and down hills that I thought would have me in a crumpled heap at the bottom.
I think this was more due to the vehicle and to the on site guidance but I'm still well chuffed.
We went to a club day at Eastwell Manor run by the4x4solutions, in ashford kent. Would recommend them to anyone who wanted to try out off roading in a non damaging way and improve their techniques at the same time. More expensive than pay and play at £50 for the day but there were 6 of us and two instructors/marshalls who were ex LRE instructors.
No longer a muddy coward, might have to change my username, am keeping my mud as a badge of honour
