Hi!

I've wanted a Defender for years, and now I run my business from one!

Bought an '03 Defender TD5, which has been converted to open up at the sides. Built in is a generator, gas compartment, fridge, service area and coffee machine! It truly is a mobile cafe!!

I'm wanting to learn about LR's and how to maintain/fix them, so any tips/hints etc are very much appreciated. I have no mechanical experience, so am starting from scratch :)

Now that's a good idea. I could do with a coffee machine in mine too. Pictures please!

Something has already broke/I bought it broke!! :eek:

I'm thinking of these as they're cheap.. 94PC SOCKETS DRIVER TORX BITS SOCKET SET CV 1/2 1/4 94 | eBay

had an absolute nightmare getting the acoustic cover off earlier, the bolt on the left of the engine was just spinning (the one that's a nut and bolt). Took a couple of hours to get my arms in the right place and the two spanners in place to loose it!

I think you get what you pay for, maybe they'll be ok for a while but they do seem very cheap with free p+p and all.
Probably still cheaper than 4 coffees and a sandwich though :)
