Greetings.
I thought joining a site such as this may be a wise move after purchasing my first Landy.
I am the proud owner of a Limestone coloured 109 diesel truck cab, with a fitted overdrive. It was a bit tatty when I picked it up and it was fitted with a horrible set of rust/white coloured Weller wheels.
After some remedial welding, new rear springs and shocks, new tilt, new tyres/tubes and a set of refurbished standard steel wheels (in Limestone) it looks pretty good.
It drives exactly how I expected it too; ie nothing like a modern car. In fact my neighbour inquired as to how it was to drive and I replied that it was slow, heavy work on the steering, brakes and clutch and difficult to see out of. Other than that, fantastic!
My kids love it and other than a few niggles I am well pleased.
