Hello everyone.


Tomorrow afternoon I will take possession of my first Landy. She is a 1996 Defender 90 300tdi. She is pretty much stock and unmolested.


I'm sure that in the coming months I will be in dire need of help and guidance and thought it only right that I say hello first.


I'm a wrong side of 40 (nearer to the right side of 50 truth be told) Lancashire lad.


Late in life for a first Landy but here goes.......

Sounds like a good idea to me. I got myself a Defender for my 50th birthday and it's the best present I've ever had.

I've just got my first defender at 52 but had loads of other land rovers and range rovers, Where in lancashire are you?

I have to say I'm loving it so far.

I'm right on the Yorkshire border between Colne and Skipton.
