first time buying landrover .Looking at freelander 1999, 95,000 miles , 12 months mot . Any advice would be much appreciated. Are there any specific problems with this particular model . many thanks stu p

My advice would be....there are much better vehicles out there. If it's a petrol, i'd definately steer clear.

not hairdresser lol. am a joiner working on civils . just need something to get me to work saw this and wondered if it was any good.

Gaylanders are well known for drivetrain problems both IRD unit and VCU's are made of plasticine. The 1.8Kseries Petrol engine is notorious for multiple headgasket failures.



Oh and the doors fall off if they get wet..

You want specific problems with this particular model

Biggest problem is it is a freelander, next is it's a petrel freelander and the last problem is it's a ****in GAYLANDER

Need we say anymore ???
