Well that's just it isn't it mate. I know it'll get there and be a really nice example when its done.

Still the upper tailgate and bonnet to do as well as both the rear arches which have been scuffed

Seal, rad gromet and scabby window frames painted satin black again

Finally got round to fixing the torn drivers seat with a set of covers from eBay. £10 plus postage so not bad really. I hate the brown but if I have to have it a bit longer at least it's gonna be in good condition. Fixed the broken heated seat element at the same time so double bonus.

I had baby poo Brown seats but it don't matter when you can't see em (cos yer sat on em). They were comfy though.

Why does the number plate on your first photo relate to a blue Renault? You are doing ok with the refurb. But still think you fitted shitty wheels. :D:D

why is it that people - some! - would rather snoop into your business and leave a negative comment rather than a positive? I think you are doing an amazing job - and I for one will not be carrying out an insurance check, mot check or number plate check never mind the spellcheck! on your vehicles. so to recap - well done with the work and the vehicle and fcuk the rest!

Said this somewhere before but I am developing a big liking for P38 Range Rovers.
I personally like the wheels but if I was being fussy maybe a bigger tyre would look slightly better.
Watching this with interest though. Keep it up and enjoy! All Landies are very personal things and you will never please everyone with your mods etc so don't bother trying!!
Keep it coming

Old man’s number plate. He took it back so it’s fitted to a renault traffic now mate

Liking the thread. Nice to see how people personalise their vehicles to their taste. Always interesting to see the different mods especially on offroaders

That was fresh out the body shop so was missing rear lights, spoiler and fuel cap but you get the idea.

So been busy on the p38 which is good as that’s what this forum is about. Fitted those bump stops. But tonight I fitted the colour coded wingmirrors. I was told they were both 6pin which is what I needed. Actually they were both 10pin. One had the 10 pin connector still on it although only 6 wires and the other looks like it was the same only it had been cut off and bodged with some crappy tape. One was also stone chipped. So now both have been modified to 6pin and soldered together nicely before being fitted. All working nicely. No more wobbly drivers wing mirror full of silicone. Thanks previous owner! Thought I had a picture of the new soldered wire all heat shrinked and looking really tidy. Note for other owners. The wires were all the same colour.
