Hey All,
Just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone on the Disco part of the forum. Previously had a Freelander (still have, going to flog it after a few jobs for MOT), Now have moved to a Discovery 2 facelift TD5 Auto. Absolutely love it. Roomy, comfortable, and can shut the 3 dogs in the boot, rather than the boot + back seats folded down.
Honeymoon period now officially over though.... power steering pipe leak (common fault, I am told - wasnt there when I bought it) and, in an uncharecteristic display of showboating, aimed to spring off the running board into the driver's seat. The running board transformed into a pile of rust in the road and I transformed into a heap next to it.
Moral of the story... I should really act my age, or practise such stunts in private before a public display. At least my mate thought it was funny.
Even so, still loving the Disco
Take care,
Adie
