I am about to search the forums on this so please don't flame me, but would like to know if urgent action is needed.
My '03 Disco 2 is sitting with it's RH rear right up in the air and the SLS warning light on Amber. The suspension looks at full height to me and I can hear the compressor running.
Hawkeye gives a fault code of 4165 and the following:
"Plausibility"
"Raising Rear Right"
Sensor readings are as follows:
Rear Left Height 164 Counts
Rear Right Height 135 Counts
Not sure if this is bollocks or not as cant relate "counts" high or low to height high or low, but the right is obviously way higher than the left.
I think the SLS is still trying to lift the Disco up, so I am wondering if I should manually lower it using the Hawkeye and switch off to avoid damage. Mileague is 60k and I replaced the bags at 55k.
Obvious answer would be a failed height sensor?
Hawkeye says circuits and grounds okay.
Will post again after some research, but any warnings or instant advice appreciated!!
Thanks
JC
