hi all
i need to tighten up rear wiper arm and clean out rear washer jet
but need to remove finisher panel HOW DO I DO THIS !!!!!!!!

many thanks in advance
shaun

Is it actually the washer jet? If you take of the plastic trim from the inside (several self tappers) you'll be able to remove the pipe from the back of the jet, operate it for bit and see if that works, it did for me and the window gets a righ good soaking now.

Chassis and body repair. Page 76 Tailgate upper. You may need that off for washer but wiper is tightened from outside. No need to remove it for that.

thanks but only shows inner panels not top tailgate outer cover

wiper tightenes from out side yes i know but cannot lift little flap over nut enough to get spanner on

cheers shaun

Plastic cover slides back off arm to give access to nut.

You're not thick mate-I wrestled with mine to fit a new blade and then found the f*** on to change it by the book. I ended up pulling the placcy bit back, repositioning the arm and tightening it up. The trim bit you can remove is at the top of the tailgate, it's still a wrestle, be careful of breaking the reducing connector on the pipe. I had a load of black **** came out of the pipe, the jet was clear!

wiper sorted now

washer jet not blocked wife said she could hear pump working

but i think it was not so next to look at pump if knackered or connection

anyone know which one it is or is it just a matter of testing all

cheers shaun

well you have a max of 3. blow back from the other end of the pipe and see which 1 blows bubbles. or wash the front screen and that will eliminate 1 of them.

Rave says left looking from front. section 84, washer and wiper system.

have you checked the non return valve in the rear pillar? is that blocked?

would pump still not work if this was case cheers

Just pull to bloody pipe off and run it, 3 mins max ,if you don't break the connector; including taking the trim off. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be
