As the title says really, always wanted one so finally got an old 85 plate 90. As you can imagine it's in need of a little work but nothing huge as most of the hard work has already been done. Booked it in for a respray and currently looking at new parts to tidy it up ie arches, steering wheel, new back as it's a pick up, black ally chequer places for wings and sill and so on. Any recommendations would be very welcome boys and girls.

Hello and welcome, sounds like you've got a blank canvas, as far as recommendations are concerned what have you got in mind usage wise?

Security would be fairly high on the list
 
Well that's certainly one of the starting points. What's the best place to start regarding this? I'm looking for light use around here and on my shoot. Nothing major off road wise just want it tidy, always had an L200 pick up but needed 2 motors to do the job really so landy was first part
 
Fit a decent set of all terrain tyres and you should find it more than enough for most outings, there's nothing worse than seeing someone with all the gear and no idea....Really the original design takes some beating.
 
Wheels and tyres are sorted, used to drive the L200 over the dales rabbit shooting a lot so know first hand the need of good tyres. Looking for best places price wise for parts and delivery.
 
I bought mine from oponeo as these were the cheapest at the time for mine but there's plenty of places to choose from. I've got 265 75 16 BFG muds so it depends what you're thinking of.
