As others have said, stick with the 200tdi, if its been looked after they will go on and on without issues. The injector pump can be tuned to give it a bit more oomph. Enough info on this site about it.
Would imagine fitting a TD5 wouldn't be straightforward unless you are good with electrics and have deep pockets.
