Hiya all,
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on a little problem I have (well 2) with my 2008 Freelander 2 HST auto. I've already had new brakes and a wheel bearing on the back, and Just had a refurbed 'Transfer Box' fitted (with 12 months Guarantee) so I've spent quite a lot already and I only got it in January this year ! I bought it from a car auction, so NO guarantee.
To my problems ... The 'sat nav' doesn't work .... I was told that it's the GPS as I can't get any am stations either and the screen shows No GPS ... Could it be the Ariel ? if it is, does anyone know how to change it ?
The 2nd question is: has anyone experienced rain drops just behind the rear roof light ... ia there an easy fix ?
many thanks
Marcus

The water leak is coming in around the central high mounted stop lamp - quickest and cheapest fix is to use some silicon sealant to seal it to the body

For the antenna then it’s the one on the roof and you get to it by removing the rear trims and then dropping the rear of the headlining slightly to access the antenna. There is an amplifier which may be faulty or it could be a wiring fault
