Maybe I'll leave it a few weeks until it's all forgotten about and then just ask for help not saying why I need a new engine, thanks.

I've been on veg forums for years and never had anyone admit to something so stupid, you'd be a brave man to admit it on there, but on here.............

I`ve read of stranded 2CV adventurers filling there holed gearboxes in a jungle with bannanas,
so maybe try some in your tight engine.........


oh, but its a wind up......

sadly or gladly, the 2 2CV jungle drivers made it with a noisey gearbox, while you just made I larf..
 
Well I've now done about 600 miles or so keeping it topped up with ten litres of diesel and ten litres of oil in rotation. Figure 600 miles is about a tank full so will now run it down to about a quarter tank and then refill. Is my thinking on that ok?

As an aside, I'll probably keep running it on about 30% veg oil all the time as it seems to make for a smoother engine, and smell nicer :p

Oh, ItsMe, shame you got banned because if you are genuine it's nice to know there's a bigger fool than I out there :D
