Sorry to hear mate, any idea what make / supplier the belt is from? could be others suffered similar probs, its rare but have known new belts break within months, maybe worth folk starting a beware list?

Was it home fitted or garage? Would there be any come back to a garage if a belt snapped early on an off roader?

it was done by the guy who does all my work which I trust fully..the belt kit he did get from the same supplier and funnily enough its the same supplier who sold him the ****part clutch:mad:

tell him to buy his parts from elsewhere then,obviously **** that he is buying.:(
 
its a dayco belt kit.

its been suggested there may be a prob with the injection pump bearings seizing and causing a sudden stop and then snapping the belt???
 
the amount of stuff you,ve renewed , surely it must be getting to look like a new disco soon :D:D:p
