Make sure you buy a quality brand as well. Lucas/TRO are OEM. The cheap britpart/bearmach use seals which will start to leak after about a week.
i did all three parts in the same stuff a year ago, took less than a minute to bleed and no problems at all. Third part is the flexi.A few months back I replaced my master and slave cylinders. They are bearmach and I've had no problems.
hope u don’t mind me asking , as the subject has been mentioned
has anyone extended the bleed nipples location from the slave into a better location plse ,
have been trying to find out what the size of the bleed nipple and wondering if anyone may know plse
apologises once again @doriz and u didn’t mind me asking in ur thread
thks
No issue, and let's face it, it's a good idea.
They bleed just fine, try your local motorfactors, I was after one and they got the right part from my reg, had it the next day, oem girling lucas 30 quid.
I would be concerned with an extended bleeder pipe fracturing.
Ive done one slave and at least 3 masters all on the same car! never had any issues bleeding them.
it was only an idea but understand where ur coming from, it would of course be suitably clipped so it didn’t wave around , ie same way brake lines are fixed
but indeed a good point
