My FL have just developed an annoying vibration. It seems like its coming from the dashboard area of front of the card.

Its not effecting the steering etc...

Vibration tends to get worse under acceleration. As soon as you stop accelerating and cruise along it almost dissappears!.

I've just had my drop links done and wondered if it was conencted to that.

I've checked wheel balance and wear on the tyres and that seems OK.

Any ideas, other than burn it?

Thanks:eek:

might be worth dropping off the prop shaft to eliminate that , could be a bearing gone on vcu

just a first guess

good luck

Hi guys

Thanks for that just done a 700 mile round trip mainly motorway to and from Devon. The FL was fully loaded - 2 adults, 2 teenagers and full boot and a roof box. Apart from only using about a tank of fuel I was surprised that the vibration could not be heard. It was used up and down hilly and steep coast roads - particularly in sport mode or manual. The vibration doesnt seem to be getting worse(?) Would it still suggest bearing on the VCU or the driveshaft?

Thanks for reading

Andy

Sorry guys for the lack of reply.

Its more of a sound vibration than a proper movement vibration.

Its not really speed related. More torque related - when accelerating hard I would say.
