I was out borrowing from the my heap yesterday, cut out an engine mount and look what was in the chasis box setion........

That was probably there from the factory all those years ago!

Seriously... when I was a student back in the late 80s, I went on a trip to the Rover Longbridge plant to see them build the saloon cars on the production line.

I actually saw the guys eating their sandwiches while putting on door cards and interior trim. I saw bits of paper bag and sandwich fall into door cavities which the workers just left and covered in plastic masking.... some would use chalk to write rude messages on the floorpan before laying down the carpet.... and all this while they were being watched by a group of visitors being shown round.

Its a good job they dint let you round the rear seat fitting department:eek::eek:
 
A friend had a bike accident and was laid up for a year, upon returning to his vaux astra it wouldnt start, upon inspection rodents of some kind had eaten chunks out of the loom, little feckers.

Lookin at the slots you made with the grinder, you wants to get smoe of these new super slim cutting discs, 1mm thick, its like cutting a tarp with a stanley.
