Hello,
(ha! now i can ask for something :p )

Today we fit a FBH in to my Td4. There are also stock LR fog lights on bumper... and we got a problem with collision FBH and left fog :/ . It looks like the light is too deep...

Anybody know any solution - LED maybe, or saw other ideas to suit FBH and Fogs ?
 
How about moving the FBH slightly to make it clear the rear of the fog.
There looks to be room for both fogs and FBH on my facelift. However the pre facelift bumper shell is slightly shallower, giving clearance issues you describe.
 
It's moved back as possible, and still got the problem with the light... looking on google for LED equivalent but no luck (only facelift)
So i need shallower light i think, but don't have idea from where :(
 
I've been wondering about this too. I've got some of the in-bumper original landrover fog lamps ready to fit on my pre-facelift bumper. No FBH at the moment, but have been thinking about seeing if I could pick one up with associated bits in the summer to be a nice project preparing for next winter.

I was assuming it was going to need putting further back away from the bumper. And was hoping that by making a new bracket, it would be possible to work something out to make the two fit. But it sounds like that won't work :-(

How much are the two units overlapping by?

The lamps I have in my LR Fog Lamp kit say Rover on them, so I'm guessing they are the same as ones on the 25/45/ or 75. So I don't know if there are any LED equivalents that could be shorter?
 
LED lighting is still in its infancy, so availability of all styles of lamp are limited.
Fog lights have very particular beam requirements. They have a wide flat beam, that is designed to cut under the fog and illuminate the curbs. There is also a large anti glare cap fitted over the bulb. This is to prevent non-reflected light dazzling on coming vehicles.

LED technology can produce a similar beam pattern to incandescent fog lamps. However it needs a culminating lens to do it. The down side is glare to on coming vehicles. An anti-glare cap can't be fitted over the LED emmiter, as it would stop the light from being projected.

The only way to prevent un-reflected light, is to have rear projecting LEDs. This is the way most vehicle manufacturers are doing it. The light from the emmiters is literally aimed at dedicated reflectors, within the lamp housing. This method adds depth to the design, which messes with a compact light unit design.
 
Job is done :) . Heater must have slight different position. Not on side like LR fit it but 90* behind bumper bar. On that way everything is work. Slight mod to bracket and water pipes.
