As i have mentioned before i am looking at getting a series 11. One i have my eye on has the following two faults:
the fuel gauge is inaccurate, and the mileage recorder stopped
These seem as if they will quite easy to fix. Whats your opinion lads?

Also once i have obtained one that i want does anyone fancy giving a novice a training session?? Obviously a few quid in it

Wouldnt worry too much about either "fault". I used to have one where the further you went, the more fuel you had. Thought it was going to save me a fortune, but unfortunately it was only wired up the wrong way round :(

lol i'm pretty sure i wont be sailing it!! I'm after someone to give me a bit of help and advice on off roading. I'd rather give someone on here a few quid than go give it to some company just to go on an obstacle course:)
 
where abouts are you based??? there are a few groupsof people on here that go green laning that you could tag along with and get pointers from, if you went to a pay and play site with a few more advanced drivers you could pick up pointers too
 
there are a few folks up your way, the best lot are daan saarf innit!


they are spread beween cornwall, herts and essex!

Yup - 3 of em - fookin huuuuuge - int they - I only used one and its like having an extension on the side of the house - its about twice as long as the motor - an I can tuck it up al nice an warm at nite :D
 
i know i have 1/2 mine goes from the back of the series to about 1/3 the length of the garage, and there is room to work between them
 
mine is attached the house wall, a 4 ft gap, across the landie and down to the ground with a 3 foot gap on that side as well. Attached to the garage 6ft to the front of the landy - all the way across, down the back and fixed to the ground - tiz a huuuuuge tent.:D
 
all for under a tenner, did you find it was a pig to put up?? i had to do mine on my own and it was windy
 
i have an old tin garage with bolts through the top holding the ridge sheet in place, i ended up on the roof of it (thin tin sheets with a 2" angle frame) trying to get the tarp to go over
