Re: P38 2.5 DSE 1998.

Hope you can help with this one as it's driving me nuts.
I have recently replaced a one year old battery, as it was continually flat. However, now I have the new one in place, every time I start to drive, the fault alarm beeps and the display tells me the left hand front door is open, when its clearly closed tight.

Any ideas??

i would think that would be your micro switch, on the door lock. you will need to strip it down and clean it..

I had the same problem a few days ago, the cleverer guys on here helped me out.

I took the door catch out, cleaned and played around with it and all is good still (finger crossed).

It is not easy to do, I'm still minus some skin.....
