Heyup all,
Realised the other day that me fan belt needed replacing, so sorted one but didnt realise you have to get down and go in from underneath,(which i am unable to do at minute due to a recent knee op)
Me mate had a look says he will do it but it looks a bit complex so wants me to get handbook first, just wondered if its pretty straight forward.

I always thought of mesen with a little basic mechanical knowledge but owt more than a fan belt change would have me dropping off at garage but now i cant even do that!!:mad: :confused:

Naa then mingy, Less of the knee jokes,it might make me want to drown me sorrows and get legless!! :D

Its a 2001 (y) td4 (apparently they changed it in 2001).
I have since realised i have got the handbook but cant find it, shes denying shes moved it from where i know i left it. (got me mot and v5 with it too:eek: )
 
sorry bout the silly joke nod. . . .reet on the td4 if yer have two belts then yer have ac they are both toothed belts. . . .un are not fer the faint harted [er right pig] . . . .ive done mine an i'm used ta sortin out motors ,but it twas a reet pig of er job. . . .later on i will do a right up on a way of doin it wiff out bustin er gut. . . . .:) :) :)
