Hi all,

Famous Four.... Well, what can I say,

Apart from what a fantastic place, company and people, there knowledge, advice, help and support are second to none and I would recommend them to anyone.

Regards

It's all too common for people to go on a forum and slate a company - true keyboard warriors. It's nice for someone to take a minute out of their life to actually say something nice. Well done you. I personally think lrdirect are fantastic!

It's Friday night and we're plugging our favourite companies?
Can I put a word in for Shepherd Neame? :D

you work for them? the owner? New sponsor?

Hi,

No I don't work for them.

I know people who use them, I have phoned for advice in the past and they have been first class, I took my car to them today for the first time and the advice, help and customer service was great, that's all, just wanted to let people know that there are some good companies out there.

Thanks

Mick I wholeheartedly agree Famous four are excellent ! During my restoration they couldn't have been more friendly or helpful especially Dave and Chris!:D

I'm pretty sure 99% it was Famous four that sold me a second hand 2.5na engine some11 years ago and also a second hand lt77. Well the Lt77 was fitted and reverse gear was chipped and they offered me £100 back. Not funny when a poor student!! The engine was alright few oil leaks but soon sorted out. But the oil pump which I was told they fitted before I bought it had the wrong gear in with the hole way bigger than the spigot it was tupposed to run on. Wasn't until a few years later this caused an issue. Shows how string the old engines were and hat 6k mike engine oil swaps and decent servicing didn't half help. Resulting in a 200tdi swap.

Will confirm its them soon but I have not and will not use them for an second hand good parts or new.

I have to say that i used them for the first time a couple of months ago, new alternator.
Bloody brilliant, bent over backwards to beat a quote i had recieved from elswhere.
Nice people to deal with and i will be using them now instead of my other dealer that i have used for a few years.

Theakstons brewery have always provided me with excellent draught. I can heartily recommend the xb. The old peculiar is also excellent if you can't get an epidural on prescription

Donator, minimum posts and only 2 likes from Nig! HA Bloody newbies.
