So what do you think? not put it all back yet though, changed the bulbs put this in, and still have the leather to put on (the surround) before and after

when I took the surround off it was cracked an broken, put mettle putty around the screw holes, and ordered some special glue, when that done I will put the leather over it then, the pic dont look that bad, but it very bad when you look at it for real

what do you mean by putting leather on the surround? is that an autobiography option? I've not heard of it before

Are you sure it's plastic? Real wood veneer has been used in many vehicles and still is.
Oh yea real genuine plastic. not the fake plastic

I dont know if its an option or not, but I got it here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351415937214?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT I have the grey stitch option, as soon as my glue comes I will put it in then, I will put pics up to show it off when I do

I recently bought the wooden/effect dial surround too. it's not the stick-on stuff. it was advertised as autobiography trim and it looks like walnut veneer on a thin plywood type base

Yea you can get the print stuff too, looks absolutely terrible, apart from the real wood, this is the next best thing, and it wont fade with time, nice and easy to fit as well, I have some on my center console already for some years, and it still looking good, thats why I didn't mind buying this as I know what I was getting

great, thanks dopey. if you have no luck with the glue, I can get you another speedo pod surround for probably just a tenner

Thanks m8, see how I get along with this when the glue comes, If I screw it up, I might take you up on the offer, this was my way of fixing it, because I couldn't get one, now you have one..... :D:D:D
