My 1995 d1 V8s exterior black plastic trim like the front bumper has gone that horrible sun-bleached patchy grey.

What do people use to renew this black plastic to make it like new. ??

I've just ordered some of this stuff to do mine.............

Forever Black Bumper & Trim Dye Kit Restore Faded Bumpers & Vinyl or Rubber | eBay

seems to have quite good reviews.

will post piccies on my rusty. numpty thread when I've used it.

Heat gun, or a hot hair dryer! Lasts way longer than any 'treatments' I've seen.

I saw a post on Facebook where someone used smooth peanut butter! It looked good but can't see it lasting as long as heating with hot air!

The wife will kill my disco if I use her hairdryer. But that's ok as I have an industrial paint stripping hot air gun somewhere, I'll use that. Never heard of this method but willing to give it a go. Cheers

Used the heat gun on mine and looked great for quite a while but kept fading again so I used plastikote spray paint from ebay (satin) and it looks stunning and no look of fading ages later.
