Hello everyone, I'm new to this and to my 04 Freelander facelift too so please go easy on me. Can anyone please tell me if a set of headlights for the older Freelander 2 will fit my F/L? I know there's a rounded aspect to the bottom of the headlamp casing on mine that's not on the old 2 version but does anyone know if the fittings / screwholes etc will be compatible? Thanks!!

When you say Freelander 2 which year do you mean??

I'm not certain yet, they're LHD which I need for Germany. The bloke who's selling them says they're the early edition F/L 2. I've asked him for the year.

I take it this is for permanent export and registration in Germany.

If you have a 'facelift' 2004 Freelander no other light units will fit except the ones from that vehicle i.e.2003 to 2006.

Thanks. Yep I've just moved to Germany. The ones for sale are 2009. I've searched the net for 04-06 LHD lights but with no joy. Any ideas?

Why do you want to change them? - You don't have to.

You can have up to a year then back to UK for a new tax disc and MOT.
