Tried the search but found nothing (maybe i missed it too) Has anyone got any idea how to remove the Dial surround rings inside the cluster?

The reason is that by time from 04 to date, the side silver spray got grazed and after i had a chat with my friend who is a panel beater/sprayer he agrees they would look great in brushed effect and said he could do it.

Now the grey parts i think i'll get a hold of by hook or by crook, (even the ones near the cluster which seem complicated. But i thought i'd give the rings the same base colour (as brushing effect will not be visible since they are very thin)

Anyone ever got em off? or is the cluster sealed?
