Must admit a neighbor has just got rid of one as something on the front drive train went and he just went out and got a kia, i did look at having it off him if it was being scraped and fixing it as it was an 06 plate td4, but the thoughts passed thankfully.
 
Had a look at a freelander once, the doris didn't like it at all. Phew :D:D:D

I've always liked the look of them, never driven one.
 
The fl2 isn't a bad car
A client of mine has 170bhp version and it doesn't hang around. Much better version than the first. Sorry fl1 peeps..
 
The late fl2s look very nice indeed, if i was on the market for a replacement for the p38 and had the money i might look at them but far to expensive atm.

My cousin had a chipped FL2. Very nice. Did about 200k miles, a lot of it towing heavy plant and it did marvellously. No problems that I remember. Nice little car.
 
If you buy second hand I’d try get one that’s never had tow hitch, cheaper to fit one, speshully if I’m previous owner.
