I'm thinking about putting two gauges in and was hoping to get a pod for them to clip in the ash tray on top of the dash. Raptor do one but it is for four gauges. I've looked at Mud Stuff and Croytec, but they are screw in to dash ones and I don't want to put holes in the dash. Are there any other makes out there? Cheers.

Im sure the mud stuff one has a plate that goes under the dash. I have one which I havent fitted, I can check when Im home tomorrow

Well, I bought one of these..

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221741409218

which is a three gauge pod, and they used to do a two gauge one, but not right now :( ( out of stock ? )

You'll just have to fit another gauge :D
You'd have to drill holes through the top of the dash with that one I guess?
Hmmm.......... a third gauge :)

Cheers, but I think that'll mean drilling holes too. Looks like Raptor are the only ones who have designed something to clamp in the ashtray hole.

I mean to screw the pod to the dash, not to get the cables in.

Mine is held on with double sided tape - no dash board were harmed in my installation :D

And I haven't got any pics from the time, but I'll go and take some now.....

Sounds great. Cheers. :D

So, here's a general piccie of the "pod" on me dash - me wires and pipe go through the holes in the vent beneath the pod. I made a bit of 9mm ply fit the underside of the pod, and then used M4 socket heads to hold the ply to the pod... then.... the ply and thus the pod are held to the dash with halfrauds double sided number plate tape - its been there 2 years, and it ain't loose yet - but brake cleaner will fetch the glue off, should the need arise.....

And, just for completeness, and your delectation..... here's a close up of the base of the unit - with super magnification, you should just be able to see the ply, and the double sided tape
