Hi guys , just thought I’d share , we bought our Landy in Feb , its our first defender ..

I had always wanted a defender, had a freelander once won’t talk about that tho lol.. .. we opted for the 110 as we are planing on some mountaineering trips and light over landing , Scotland highlands , alps , France ..

Over the next 2-3 months I will be trying to get things ready . Lol , I have already made a bit of a start.. repainted the roof , steering guard, spit charge system, checker plate, ... atm im planning on, new shocks and springs, Hd steering rods, new bushes, im sure I will find other things need doing ..

She is a 50th year anniversary edition td5 in cobar blue 624 , had two previous owners first was land rover where she was a display vehicle, and latter a couple who used her as a car .. it seems she had a easy life so far

Just a few pics

Cheers, yeah we have taken precautions, it’s such a shame that they are a high target .. but I really love it

the Landy went back in to the garage this week , as I was loosing water and oil .. I suspected it was the head gasket , they called today and confirmed it was , they are going to do it under warrantee ..
Once I get her back , I will order up my new shocks :) and a few other bits to get her ready , I was hoping to get away for a few days at the end of the month climbing but will have to see if she's back ..
