I fitted them and then removed them. They left me like a hunchback trying to see under the top of the windscreen!

Mine had them on when I got it and I had to take them off. Apart from the fact that the seat rocked about they would be pointless even if they did what they are supposed to. If you are tall enough to need more leg room (as I am) then you are also so tall that if you put risers on you then can't see out of the windscreen. I had to choose between the standard amount of leg room or a massive crash. I chose the first one. The only way you can really get more room is get the seat to go back further by getting rid of the bulkhead.

I'm 6'5" too adn keep looking at these/mud rails, Excuse me if this is a daft question but do the tops of your legs rub on the bottom of the wheel with these fitted?

I,m 6'4 and put mud rails on, not a problem. Put a smaller wheel on but make sure you get a narrow boss, the one i bought was ****ing usless it made the wheel about 4'' closer not what you want, I cut my original wheel apart and used that for a boss, bit of welding and fabricating involved but a lot more comfortable.

How tall are you then. I'm six two and have no problem seeing out of windscreen. In fact I'd say it gives you better vision.:D

I am 6ft and when sat upright properly all I could see was the sun visor. I ended up bent over in order to see out the window.

I guess if you are hunchback you will be fine......:D

Another vote here for the Mud Stuff ones, simple and straightforward, and (if no problems with the old seat rail bolts) could easily be done in a lunchtime.
Had mine 3 years and *so much* better.

Anyone know of a supplier for doing the same to the middle seat?
