Ok then I have fitted a 200tdi into my old "D" reg 110. It's a Discovery 200tdi and I have the conversion bit from the manifold already. So what exhaust should I buy? Do I buy the full 110 200tdi one or put back on a 2.5 system with both needing a bit of modding to make them par up at the front?

Might seem like a simple question but I am interested in hearing what others have done before me ;)

This is bordering on the "What tyres" territory ......
With that in mind and tongue-in-cheek, I would definitely advise using a sort of tube arrangement. Many users have found that when specifying such a tube, the material should preferably be a metal, glass is somewhat fragile and chocolate is known not to stand the heating effect and will melt. Wood and paper whilst often being easier to work with than most metals can also succumb to the heat, often resulting in a fire, sometimes with disastrous outcomes. :D

LMAO really!

It's a genuine question from my part. I don't know if choosing either type would effect the engines general performance! The 2.5 na exhaust would just hang right back in place I was just wondering if it would be ok to use ;)

I believe it is fine to use the na system. Dunno if the TD system is bigger bore? If so it would be better.
If the conversion down pipe is the Steve Parker one, it will be the same bore as the td system so I would think that with that restriction already in the exhaust, what gets fitted afterwards will have little bearing anyway.
I had the same question when I fitted the 300tdi in my truck.
In the end I made my own stainless downpipe out of scrap 2.5inch tube.
I have been running with just the downpipe for about a month now.
The noise is tedious but the turbo whistle is awesome!!!
I have ordered a silencer and flexi joint from eBay and will fit them the exit the exhaust out of the passenger side wing between the door and rear wheel.

Not sure I made myself clear in my last post - beer in system!!!
I refer to td as turbo diesel not tdi
On Steve parkers website it looks like either td or tdi system will work with the conversion down pipe so yeah I would use the tdi system.
Don't want you to order anything in error!!
Exhaust and air filter are giving me more headaches than Any other aspect of my conversion!!
Hope I haven't caused confusion mate
