Hi Guys,
I took my 99 4.6 (Thor) in for a checkup the other day, and the entire exhaust system is in quite poor condition. (Although a clean bill of health for the rest of it apart from an ageing radiator!)
Luckily my friend who also has a P38 although a 96 model with single exhaust, had bought a twin exhaust system for his to retrofit only to find it wouldnt fit because of the brake line locations etc. Anyway long story short I have purhcased that from him.
Now the center box on mine is a fairly recent britpart exhaust, i've a receipt for it in the history but its pretty much ruined and rotten. Can I just simply straight pipe this bit purely to free up a bit of noise from the old bruiser up front. I'm not into a huge great exhaust system anymore but being able to hear some more V8 rumble would be appreciated!
Center sections appear to be about £50 or so, so its not going to be any cheaper etc will there be any implications of me doing this or should I stop being 6 years old and put a new center box on?
