New issue :D my exhaust is blowing like a beauty from the centre box, (has a split down the whole side of it) rear back boxes are also on there last legs. Just want to know if there is a better standard looking exhaust that sounds abit more meaty on the market??!!

I changed mine to a Janspeed cat back system for the same reason. This system is not the standard pattern though & the tail pipes cut through the rear bumper valance slightly. Also it's advisable to heat wrap the OS rear section of pipe as it passes very near the airspring.
I think Datatek got a double S system that is more stock but not sure if it gives any more 'grunt'.

For the same reasons, I recently fitted the SS 200cpsi sports cats combined with the Janspeed cat back system.

Am very happy with the increase in grunt and economy. It also sounds pretty nice! haven't had to worry about heat gain up to this point!:flame:

Martyn, thanks for all your help at the time :)

No worries,

Would love to hear what yours sounds like with the sports cats.:D
I noticed my OS rear airbag was getting a little perished right where the exhaust pipe passes it (must only be 3cm between them) so i heat wrapped this section to avoid any more damage.

they look good, and sound very nice indeed. how much is the system roughly? and are they easy enough to fit yourself?

Sound pretty tame when cruising although I am told it sounds immense from the outside when passing!!

I bought the Janspeed catback from http://www.dcperformance.co.uk/cheap/860559/landrover/janspeed-exhausts-systems/ss726.html

And the cats from Land Rover Parts | Range Rover Spares - Accessories | Paddock (I think!)

As Martyn said, fitting is done for not a lot of ££ at your local tyre & exhaust center. I would take on board what he said about heat protection even though I personally have not had any problems.

Hope you go for it (btw you can get top money for your old cats if you have a post 1999 model)

ummmmm....tempted.
My cats are in very, very good nick though....shame, as i'd need an excuse to fit these :(
