Hi has any 2.5n/a owners got a pic of the accelerator cable fitting on the fuel as mine has snapped and I think I am missing a part on the fitting
 
I looked and I have got a twin throttle cables one is hand operated and the other is foot operated is this norm set up in military ? It is a bugger to remove the pin
 
I have an ex mil 2.5 NA 90 and only got a foot throttle. If you still want a photo I shoot one tomorrow.

Yes if it was FFR - so they could increase the engine speed to 1000ish to increase the alternator output.
 
Hi cassey. No it is okay Disco mania. Thanks for the pic. Cassey if u got only got one cable it is lot simple lol. Apparently mine well was ffr. Fitted for radio. Foot for driving and while idling it dropped low. Alternator 2 alternators. 12 and 24 volts. They used the hand one in place where choke would be for petrol version increased speed. So in weekend I will have to remove the hand cable by the fuel pump at first link to get access to the foot cable connection. I will take pic if u want ? If u are interested. Doing it at weekend as I am in bed with bad cold bugger lol
 
As u see in the pic two cables. The first one is hand operated the second one behind the first is foot so I had to move the cable out of way to access the foot cable fittings boy!!! Had to be aerobatic !! Knees on the radiator elbow on the wing bonnet head in engine bay !! Nipple fingers to put the pin back in !! All ok now.
