Monsal Dale - Peak District

Gavin Gurt's Burt Lane
Brushfield Lane (including Putwell Hill) in the Peak
District (in Monsal Dale)

is the subject of a Public
Inquiry because Derbyshire County Council think it
is a bridleway and not a BOAT.

We need lots of user evidence from people who
have driven it in the 20 years from 1986 to 2006.
Please ask your members/colleagues if they can
remember driving this lane and badger them to
complete the attached User Evidence Form and
return it to j_nigel_bennett@yahoo.co.uk by email
20 June.

The form can be completed on the screen
(with care) or printed off, completed by hand,
scanned and returned to Nigel. It is important that
all questions are answered even if with a NO and
please provide as much detail as possible about
your reasons for using the lane.

Please forward this request to as many other clubs
and groups as possible, other wise we WILL lose this
superb lane.

Thanks for putting this up Sue. I sent evidence in earlier.

WE NEED USER EVIDENCE. If you have any, please help to save this iconic lane.
