Thought I'd say hi & introduce my self.
May not be around and active all that much but ill try and log on as much as u can.
So a bit about me.
I'm Adrian, 24. Me and my other half added to our car collection & bought a W reg TD5 Auto Series 2 Disco' in November, main reason for this was to be a tow car for my race car. And the fact I've always had a soft spot for Landrovers.
So far it's not disappointed & has successfully been the most troublesome car I've ever owned which I fully expected.
Replaced the battery, trans' oil temp sensor in the first two weeks, now onto replacing the ABS sensor on the off side front. As we're getting the TC, ABS & Hill Descent lights sporadically popping up.
The thing I'm most, annoyed, about its it's my first car with sunroofs and they are sealed. Suppose it saves me getting wet lol.
Once all the little issues are sorted out I think I may treat it to an EGR delete bigger FMIC, facelift ECU and a map (i think those are are necessary mods) Mainly to assist in towing and a possible MPG gains.
We're (she, as she's commutes in it) are getting 22mpg daily and between 27 & 33 on the motorway. Not tried it fully laden with trailer yet though.
Anywho, ill leave my ramble there!
