Yeah i see it, the guys a bit of a numpty, didnt take a spare! I mean i understand not taking one for the actual attempt but he didnt even take one to the antartic, that would have been top of the list! When i win that euromillions im gonna have to give it a go... Think a 'fender may be a bit chilly though!!

Fender a bit chilly!! haha - just a tad - that thing was a beast.

I feel that is going to be my offroader when i win the lottery - does seem a superb laugh but it would be better as a group of you.

Home now, good weekend, lanes around there aren't the best but found some interesting ones last thing, pics to follow no doubt.
As for camping, give me a crap travelodge any day over a tent the size of a coffin.

watching you trying to pull your camp bed into that little tent was comical mate:D

Cheers all for another top weekend.
Just wished I could go out without breaking some time, oil pressure sensor (hopefuly) & winch motor (think it's shorting out again).

Well, I've got to say that this weekend was great, the best way to spend any weekend I think.

Thanks to all, especially John, who helped get me going again after breaking a brake line. It was a bit hairy at times on the way home with only 3 brakes but I got home safely.

Was great to manage tow a couple of peeps from the mud to help offset all the help I usually get.

So this weekends damage:

Broken brake line.
Overheated and blew the expansion tank cap off loosing around 5 Ltrs of coolent.
The clicking is getting worse so the CV needs changing very soon.

To top it all off I discovered the MOT runs out next weekend so will need a few patches doing sooner than expected along with the new jobs on the list.

Looking forward to the next weekender.

Cheers for the tow :0)
I heard a couple of people say there uj's were clicking, make sure that there were your own you were hearing and not mine. Mines ment to click when turning :0)

Well it's already been said. Good company, fun lanes, a decent coat of mud to get the neighbours gasing and no known damage. Couldn't ask for more.

Roll on the winter weekender and the comfort of a hotel.
Next time we go camping I'm taking the big family tent. That popup thing rubbish.

(looks like im going to have to get a 110 as it was a bit cramped with everyone loaded in the 90:rolleyes:)

Let me know if you ever plan to sell the 90, may be interested, been looking again at them, not sure yet though as the Disco doesn't struggle and is alot bigger/comfier but 90's look cool and are lighter...

Thanks to all, especially John, who helped get me going again after breaking a brake line. It was a bit hairy at times on the way home with only 3 brakes but I got home safely.

Thats no problem, it was grahams little clamp that saved the day, brilliant thing to carry onboard, gonna get me something like that me thinks.

I did see when we all had to stop suddenly you ended up on the other side of the road, must have been an interesting drive home!

Took back the cooker from hell, I was welcomed by a 12 year old spotty oik shop assistant , the first thing he said when he saw it was, we've had loads of them back
the gas bottle won't lock in on them i bought one myself, to which i politely replied would it not have been wise to withdraw them from sale, Then the oik with attitude said Nah we can't open and check them all can we mate. He then spends the next 5 minutes trying to fix it, ( bearing in mind me Nick and Mickey had spent half an hour the previous night trying to get it to work) so I'm starting to get a tad miffed so when he finished arsing about and realises its ****ed he said "its broken I will replace it for you". Now in grumpy old bastard mode i said like **** will you i want my money back. A bit shocked at my response he then tells me as I have used half a can of gas out of the four I bought he can't refund the money for them. The fortunate little git was saved from an expensive dentist bill by his manager who came over in the nick of time and gave me a full refund. To top it all at no point did anyone say sorry for your inconvenience.
So if you want to go camping don't get your gear from Gocamping.
End of bitch.

If it was 6 inches wider and the legs stayed on maybe lol... Airbed next time or if were wild camping im getting a hammock tent

I felt very smug with my comfy airbed, up until the point when i realised it didnt fit in the tent

All a bunch on whingers! I used to kip in the same two man tent for car shows for about 7 years! Complete with inflatable double mattress and all my beer.
