This was the problem, up and running again today, well almost, i have got some boosting/fuel problem now, i wont be doing violets tomorrow which is a shame, maybe another weekend as am well up for it...

As soon as im back running correctly, hopefully by next weekend, im up for an evenings laning around chelmsford area if anyones up for it?

Can you jump In With someone?
Might be up for a bit of chelmsford laneing when your done :0)

Think I need a new battery :(
Couldn't start it and very slow turning over. Got it going in the end after changing the fuel filter (running on veg) and jump starting it.

Anyone recommendations on replacement battery's and local suppliers.
Would prefer to collect, rather than order online.

I have a virtually unused Halfords high power discovery battery in my kitchen I paid £100 for then after 1 month broke the truck.

Other than that I have my battery from my last one.

The ones I have are kept warm and dry in my kitchen and often put on the charger to keep them working.

Only putting it out there.

Are you running a winch or do you plan to? Optima batteries are the best but pricey, around £180 for a decent one, will last for years and happily run any extras you fit off one battery

Unipart batteries are very good as well, we sell loads and never get issues, a local car care center or partco will sell them for £100, nationwide gaurentee as well, always a unipart garage near...

Local motor spares/factors usually decent price and they should be open tomorrow mirning

From what I've heard Euro Car Parts have been doing some good deals on Bosch batteries.
I put a 1000CCA on mine which seems to do the trick! :D

Sure many pictures will be taken, video too no doubt as I'll be testing both the ford and my snorkel repairs in Tiny lol.

Been away up North for a week, looks like you had some fun and also alot of rain, spent last week in the lakes and it only rained Friday just gone, even got sunburnt on Thursday !

Green flag got to me about 10 mins after you lot went and pigged out on KFC,Clamped up broken brake pipe and i limped home on ok brakes?.
Another good days laning, guess a log or something under the water must have done the pipe, nice one for leading Graham, good to meet spyder man and friends.

Well it wouldn't be a normal laning day without the usual ending:

One seized PAS pump and snapped aux belt. Fortunately it decided to break down near Brian's so at his awaiting recovery.

Top day out, cheers to the organisers.
