I've done a few of the ones round Braintree and they are pretty tame in comparison to some of the pics I've seen on here of other lanes in Essex.

Thanks but I had found their web page and I know the next day is the 12th, but are they open every sunday, once a month or just when it suits them?

I've missed the last few and we are off on holiday early Monday morning, but theres no excuses I'm going to this one.

I've had a full tank of petrol for the last month and still have 3/4 of a tank. Thats no good at all...

Bures was lots of fun.... i was very nervous as the wife wanted to have ago first and as it is her car i didn't really have a choice. After playing around on the flatter, less steep stuff she ventured up along a crest and a car came towards us. there was a drop to the right that ended up in a 30 ft bowl. After having a look with the now spectators i told Lucy she could do it. As we hung oir right front wheel over the edge and all we could see was sky, Lucy shouted "I DON'T LIKE IT" AND LET GO OF THE STEERING AND GRABBED MY HAND AND THE HANDLE ON THE ROOF LINING!!!. As she squeezed one of my hands till it went blue i then stered to the best of my ability down the drop with her working the brakes pretty hard. At the bottom we were both shaking.... after we recovered she put on her Alice Cooper cd and she had the bug. We climbed back out on the second attempt and then she went off and done loads more while i just stood and took pictures...... i eventually had a go and managed to scare us both a few more times. it was a fantastic day out.
